HOW TO USE BACKGROUNDS?
Tiled Backgrounds
A tiled background is designed to fill a background like tiles cover a floor by repeating itself until the background is full. They tile from left to right and top to bottom. You can use tiled backgrounds in e-mails, web pages, video, presentations and more. Most programs will allow you to specify a background image.
Full Screen Backgrounds(Backdrops)
A presentation background is simply a large image that may be placed in the background of a presentation or other project. Save the image to your hard drive by right clicking and choosing "Save Picture As…". After you have saved the image, you may insert it as a background. In PowerPoint, choose "Format/Background…" then choose fill effects from the menu choices.
Border Backgrounds

Border backgrounds work the same as tiled backgrounds but they appear to just tile down the side of the page.

They work particularly well with web page programs, presentation programs and e-mail programs. They will also work in word processors and publishing programs, although you may have to save your work as a web page to see the animations move.
